The best of Bolivia: visiting the Salt Flats

This is one of the only pictures I took when I was at the iconic Bolivian Salt Flats last summer. Like with pretty much everything in Bolivia, I was totally underwhelmed. Of course, the Salt Flats are amazing to look at: miles and miles and more inconceivable miles of little hexagonal, crusted salt panels contrasting with the seemingly constant bright blue sky makes for a wondrous sight… but the actual tour itself was less than desirable. Fuhhhh-reezing cold, windy AF, and with three Chilean girls who were more bothered about applying more lipstick than anything else. Oh, and I was sick. So yeah. Bleugh.

I enjoy spreading myself over as much social media as possible. Follow meeeeee onΒ Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You’re welcome.Β
