Appreciating the beauty of China’s gardens

When I was in China, I visited a lot of places. I mean, a lot. It was part of the SPAR trip, and in, the name of true Chinese hospitality, we were guided everywhere. Every second was accounted for, which, while at first was quite nice, became very irritating, very quickly. So much so that even when I visited this beautiful garden, I found it hard to appreciate what was before me because I was in an almost constant state of annoyance! Though I wish I had gotten over it at the time, it’s nice to look back at my millions of photographs and appreciate what was in front of me without the veil of irritation!
