This picture was taken on a beach in Puerto Quepos, Costa Rica. It was the end of a what seemed like a very, very long organised tour with Gap Adventures, the first and probably last tour I will ever do that lasts over 3 hours. Although I loved everything that I was able to see on the tour, I just couldn’t stand the whole ‘organised fun’ feel by the end, and my patience was wearing more than a little thin with several members of the group. This beach was quiet, rugged and a welcome escape from the whole group tour mentality. Although Costa Rica wasn’t my favourite place I’ve ever visited, it still ticked a lot of the right boxes; cheap, welcoming people and absolutely beautiful.
Also, a bit of a plug. I’ve recently set up a Facebook page for this blog! Check it out and gimme a like here https://www.facebook.com/FottlesTravels! Thanks a mil xox
