Uluru and Alice Springs – Australia’s highlight?

Currently in the process of writing a couple of articles for online travel magazine – Exploration – about why people should definitely include the most famous part of Australia’s Northern Territory in thier trips to the land down under. Alice Springs and a camping tour around in the outback was the highlight of Australia for me, and it’s insane just how many people we met down the infamous East Coast avoided it. Whether this was down to cost (it’s a very long way out from general civilization), or just because it didn’t interest them, everyone seemed to have their excuses.

It has been two years since me and my equally hopeless friend spent our summer backpacking around Australia. Ahhhh – time flies.
